INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Individual counseling sessions are typically 60 minutes long; the frequency of sessions is determined by the client's needs.  Areas of expertise and experience include:

  • Grief and loss

  • Anxiety/Worry

  • Depression

  • Stress management

  • Self esteem/image

  • Life transitions (relocation, job/school change, divorce/separation, break-ups)

  • Exploring identity

Counseling sessions can include a combination of therapeutic approaches and techniques including those from person-centered therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), ​EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and solution-focused therapy.
